Happy 2010!

Hey folks! Sorry to (mostly) disappear from the internets the past couple weeks but I needed a real holiday this year, what can I say? Last year I stayed home during the holidays, did a bit of celebrating and relaxing but also a lot of work and not much time with family and friends, so this year I did the opposite! I visited my parents and had a very nice chance to reconnect with my brother and sister over board games and YouTube, ate a giant Christmas dinner for 20 which my saintly grandmother managed to cook and organize for everyone, put in as much time as I could with all my relatives, and sorta wore myself out. I haven’t had much family time in the past few years though, so it was very nice despite the “issues” that most families have, things went pretty smoothly.
I came back and did a bit of work and then it was off to spend a couple days with Hercules to celebrate the New Year, some nice relaxing drunken and sexed-up times with him. To tell the truth I am a little oversexed now, I think I scratched myself…Yow! Feeling pretty good though and excited to get back to work. I just put the new comforter I got for Christmas on my bed and I am looking forward to spending some naughty time on it.
HeavyB has had a rough week between a bout of food poisoning and a toothache that’s been neglected a little too long with all the holiday craziness though, and his birthday is tomorrow. Poor guy!! Guess I’m gonna have to be an extra nice wifey…shouldn’t be too hard as we are currently on the hunt for a PS3 for our Xmas-to-each-other gift, so hopefully he can recuperate in fine gaming style.
I am not really doing resolutions this year though of course I have some goals for myself. Looking back on 2009, there were a few struggles, mostly with family drama and money/recession-related frustrations, but there were an awful lot more positives than negatives this year. Made some great new friends, I’ve accomplished a lot of what I set out to do work-wise, was adopted by the sweetest kitty ever, and I learned to paint! Pretty sweet if you ask me! Here’s to a happy and sexy 2010 for everyone!
